Immunogenetics 2016 provides true to the goal of providing quality continuing education in immunogenetics, histocompatibility and transplantation with cutting edge clinical testing for solid organ and stem cell transplantation, participated in the development of a unique desensitization protocol that is used worldwide, contributed to understanding the allogeneic response to transplantation, investigated the differing immunogenicity of HLA antigens, identified minor histocompatibility systems, conducted numerous studies in population genetics, contributed knowledge about the immunogenetics of diseases, and supported studies in vaccine development.
